I just realized that I was in a good mood all day and then Michael came to pick me up and now I feel gross and fat and miserable and just unhappy.

Hmm.

So I deactivated my Facebook.

And I realized that now that I don’t spend all my time looking at what other people are doing, I can focus on myself and my own creative endeavors. I’ve been writing more, going to the gym (which isn’t creative, but makes me feel good), calling people on the phone instead of Facebook messaging them, and thinking about what I want to do with my future (i.e. graduate school out of state, career paths, etc.)

So, now I have narrowed my social media usage down to just the sites I find help me to be more creative or connect with creative people. Those sites include:

1. TUMBLR
2. POLYVORE
3. PINTEREST
4. LINKED IN
5. TWITTER

I like LinkedIn and Twitter more than Facebook because I find Facebook to be too revealing. I feel as if I am being asked to expose every aspect of my life, and for me, at this time, that’s just not something I’m interested in.

What are your thoughts on Facebook? On the websites above? On social media in general?

I want to wear real perfume.

I’m twenty-one years old, and I want to smell like a lady. I’ve narrowed it down to two perfumes, and I love both, but I only want to pick one. Thoughts?
